STEAMING is a privately circulated publication, sent free to all members.

Our publication caters for all committed traction engine enthusiasts, whether owners of engines or not. We publish news and features both historical and current targeted at the engine owner/restorer and the enthusiast spectator at the many steam engine rallies held each summer.

The magazine is usually of 52 pages (size 240mm x 180mm), printed on good quality art paper in full colour, and is published quarterly. It is dispatched to members during January, April, July and October; the present print run is 3300.

Display advertising is available in STEAMING in the various space sizes shown below - please refer to a copy of the magazine to make your choice. The current rates (not including VAT, all sizes approximate, see the attached template) are:

Preparation of simple artwork is free of charge, but more complicated artwork provided by us, or inclusion of illustrations, is chargeable. Artwork on CD, or suitable for transfer by email, can be accepted at the above charges. Contact us for details of acceptable file formats.

Payment is by invoice after publication. There is a 10% series discount for repeat insertions of the same copy. A 10% discount is also available for NTET members and affiliated groups. Only one discount can be applied per advertisement. No responsibility can be accepted for errors or omissions.

All advertisements are accepted subject to the approval of the publishers and will be inserted in the issue immediately following submission. Except in the case of series insertions art work supplied by clients will be stored for six months and then disposed of – unless we receive instructions to the contrary.
