The funeral of Howard Stenning who died on July 5th will be at The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, Chichester,West Sussex, PO18 0EU on Tuesday 30th July 2013

It will be a humanist service followed by picnic/hog-roast, music and dancing!

Order of the Day:

11:00 - 11:30 arrival of guests

11:30 - 12:30 service

12:30 - 15:00 lunch and party

The day will be an informal and happy occasion, as Howard would have wanted.

The day's celebrations will take place on the rally field at the rear of the
museum and will be sign-posted from the entrance. There is plenty of
parking.

We will be providing a Hog-roast, soft drinks and tea & coffee

Howard will be arriving by steam-engine!  The coffin will be present
throughout the day's celebrations and will be taken to the cemetery at 15:00
in a motor-cycle sidecar!

The service will be designed to include all faiths and beliefs. Anyone
wishing to say a few words, read a poem or recount fond memories during the
service, please contact Tam at tamsin.xerxes@googlemail.com . Please bring
your musical instruments and singing voices!

As he had a life long interest in older vehicles the venue has been chosen
to allow anyone attending to arrive in their old vehicle if they so wish and
be part of the proceedings. If you intend to come in your old vehicle please inform Brian Johnson

parking can be properly arranged. There is no need to notify him about modern
vehicles.
