Michael Maskell sadly passed away last night.

He served an apprenticeship as a boiler maker with Walter Gower of Bedford. Michael later started his own business at Wilstead, Bedfordshire becoming one of the country's best known boiler makers. Since 1986 he owned Fowler 14012 Lord of the Isles

Michael will be especially remembered for cheery smile. He always had time to talk and was willing to help anyone.

He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends throughout the traction engine world.

Our thoughts go out to the Maskell family at this sad time.

Michael's funeral will take place at 1pm on Wednesday 7th November at All Saints Church, Wilstead, Bedford MK45 3EU.

Family flowers only, with donations to the Primrose Appeal at Bedford Hospital
