The National Traction Engine Trust

As previously stated, all entries have been accepted for the Road Run on Saturday 27th September 2014 but now letters are being sent out to confirm this.

The letter also requests participants to choose which route they would like to drive:

  • 18 mile route in a figure of eight form with a lunch stop around half way. Exhibits that do not want to do the other half of the route can return to the site at this point without having to do the last nine miles. This would be suggested for miniatures and very slow exhibits as it is on quiet country roads.
  • 28 mile route in a circular form with a lunch stop half way. This is the route for the majority of the exhibits.
  • 50 mile route in a circular form with a lunch stop half way. The route is for steam wagons and faster road locomotives.

Information is also required about meal tickets. Every entry will be given two tickets for the dinner but additional tickets must be purchased in advance.

The Bedford Club require this information for further planning. Please don't put off sending your reply but send it as soon as possible informing the Bedford Club your choice of route and the number of additional meal tickets you require. At the very latest, this information should be returned by MONDAY 30TH JUNE 2014. The information can be sent by surface mail or by contacting roadrun@bseps.org.uk

If you sent an entry form and have not received an official acceptance then you must be one of the people who neglected to include a stamped addressed envelope. In this situation please respond directly to this message by sending an email to roadrun@bseps.org.uk
