NTET 60th Anniversary Road Run

Please note the 60th Anniversary Road Run is an event for members of the NTET as previously advertised by the Trust. The BSEPS are proud to be hosting this event on behalf of the NTET.

The event is based on the road, and all exhibits will be out and about on the three routes from Saturday morning for most of the day. Anyone wishing to view the engines will be able to do so on the three routes. Access to Old Warden Park is for exhibitors, and all gates to the park will become exits for steam vehicles during Saturday morning, and entry via these gates will be restricted to exhibitors and NTET members only.

All entrants must book in at admin on arrival to receive their information packs which will include the pre booked evening meal tickets. The Friday evening meeting will explain all other aspects of the day.

All entrants may arrive from Thursday afternoon. Old Warden Park is situated near Biggleswade, just off the A1, postcode SG18 9DX. The event will be sign posted in the localality of Old Warden Park.

There are three routes for the run. The Short Blue Route which will travel anti-clockwise, the Red Middle Route which will travel clockwise and the Long Green Route which will also travel clockwise.

It has been requested by both the Bedfordshire and Cambridge Police Forces that all extra vehicles, photographers etc do not obstruct the route of the run, gateways, junctions or direct any traffic on the day.

Please remember you will need to bring your own coal (or have pre-booked with W. A. Holmes Coal). Please note you are advised to be self sufficient with water, however it will be available around the routes, and as advised on entry forms, if possible engines should be fitted with a working water lifter.

We would like to wish all entrants an enjoyable day.
