The National Traction Engine Trust

It is with sadness we report the death of Bill Love from Tonbridge, Kent.

His knowledge of traction engines was immense and over the years he wrote many  fascinating articles for 'Steaming' and the RLS 'Journal'. He held several positions with the Road Locomotive Society as a member of the committee, as Secretary and as President 1976-77.

Our sympathy goes to his family and many friends throughout the world of steam.

Everyone is welcome to attend his Thanksgiving Service on Friday 10 February 11.30am at St Stephen's Church, 37 Waterloo Road, Tonbridge, Kent TN9 2SW, further details, tel: 01323 833125.
